About us

We are best described as a diverse group of people united in four ways:

Firstly, we are amazed by God's grace. We recognize that we've all rebelled against our loving Creator God and so deserve to be rightly condemned. However, on the cross Jesus took the punishment we deserve, in our place, so that God could give us what we don't deserve - forgiveness and adoption into His family. That's grace: because of His Son Jesus, God treats us as we don't deserve - this is truly amazing!

Secondly, we are devoted to God's Word, the Bible. We are persuaded that the Word of God has great power and as the Bible is taught we grow in our knowledge of God and, therefore, in our relationship with Him. It is for these reasons that we take time for careful Bible teaching in every Sunday service, and as a natural response to God's word, and His salvation, we love to sing praises to Him.

Thirdly, we are committed to one another. It is clear in the Bible that we are brought together into relationships in a local church for our good and for God's glory; the Christian life is not an isolated life. As such, our church family strives to love each other and demonstrate this in practical ways.

Fourthly, we are committed to introducing others to Jesus. As we understand the Good News of God's grace to sinful men and women to be such fantastic news, we long that those who do not know this salvation will come to hear of it and, in turn, be saved themselves. We are, therefore, committed to telling others about Jesus and it is our ongoing prayer that many come to know Him through God's word.

Please do join us on any given Sunday. We would be honoured to minister to you.
